Usual requests are for Ibiza or Club-style party saxophone, but I am happy to play with most music for the evening. Yes, I can also play Motown, Soul, 90’s Pop, etc.
One type of music that doesn’t quite work with the saxophone is Indie Rock, however, I would usually suggest having that played between my live sets.
In the daytime, I can offer acoustic/chill covers of pop songs, jazz standards, and any other relaxing music you can think of!

Yes! I am happy to travel anywhere :)
In short, anything over an hour’s journey from Chester city centre will have additional travel costs. Locations over 2 hours away will also need to cover accommodation costs.

Of course! I am happy to work with any DJ or event entertainment you have already booked- just let me know their details and I can liaise with them about music preferences and how I will be plugging into their controller (if a DJ).
Preferably, if you could mention that I will need to plug into the DJ’s controller, that is usually received more positively direct from yourself!
If they are being particularly difficult - I'm more than happy just to DJ myself, or suggest a DJ colleague I'm used to working with!
-
The short answer to this is no... I have a PA system which can fill large rooms easily...
However, I would REALLY recommend having a DJ at your event or party. Having a DJ creates a next-level party - someone I can bounce off energy-wise, and someone who really knows how to read the room to play the perfect music all night. Also, they can make all of those awkward announcements so you don’t have to!
I can give you some really great recommendations for DJs who I work with regularly - just ask for more info :)

Yes! I will liaise with your venue to make sure that everything goes smoothly on the day. It is also really important that you allow me enough time to have a proper soundcheck on the day so I know how loud I can go.
-
Yes! I keep all of my certificates up to date and am happy to send them directly to your venue (they may call it PLI or liability insurance). All of my equipment is up to date and tested annually.
